Mayor Würzner visits Onapsis IT

The Heidelberg Innovation Park (hip), located between Speyerer Straße and Kirchheimer Weg, has won over another company: Mayor Prof. Dr. Eckart Würzner and Marc Massoth, Head of the Office for Economic Development and Science, welcomed the IT company Onapsis represented by Vice President Thorsten Bachmann in hip building 106. Onapsis offers security and compliance solutions for business-critical SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and SaaS (cybersecurity) applications. The company operates all over the world and, in addition to Heidelberg, is also based in Buenos Aires and Boston (headquarters). Around 70 people will be employed at the Heidelberg site.
“Onapsis has been based in Heidelberg for many years through Virtual Forge GmbH. The city is very attractive both for us as a company and for our employees. We decided to move to the hip because we were able to have access to tailor-made, modern office spaces in a historic building. The hip concept was a perfect fit. We look forward to sharing the space with more companies and to have a lively campus,” said Vice President Thorsten Bachmann.
