An old barracks in the Heidelberg Innovation Park (hip) has been transformed into a visionary building: iWerkx offers flexible office space for young high-tech companies. The first companies moved in back in March 2023. The kick-off took place on May 12, 2023 with an opening ceremony.
With iWerkx, hip could fulfil the vision of providing attractive, flexible spaces for young high-tech companies. The software company FORCAM, the AI start-up paretos, the tour operator Geotoura, the software developer rabbitAI, the fitness company Hidden Gyms, the medical technology company Precisis, Lab 14, the advertising agency ServiceDesign and the law firm biesinger diener have all found a home here. Of course, the community concept is also part of this new working idea: the green rooftop terrace with a kiosk in the center of the building complex offers the perfect location to experience networking at its finest. The Hidden Gym brings sport, relaxation, and well-being directly to the workplace. Meetings can not only be held indoors, but also on the office’s own balconies, arcades, or the terrace.
